Kathleen "Kathy" Frances Ambs

<p>Of Jackson, passed away at the age of 69, on October 21 at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. She is survived by her beloved pets, as well as her daughter, Teri Lynn Langley (Pete) and son, Michael Edwin Ambs; grandchildren, Maddie, Delton, and Gracie; brother, Don Dean;&nbsp;sister, Arlene Dean; and several nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Mary Gorny; father, Donald K. Dean; mother, Frances M. Dean (Gorny); sister, Bonny Richendollar;&nbsp;brother, Ron Dean; and nephew, Jimmy Dean. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>Kathy graduated from East Jackson High School in 1971 and later graduated from Select Beauty Academy. She was the proud co-owner of Fifth Avenue Beauty Salon, in Michigan Center, for many years. Kathy enjoyed rescuing and caring for animals, no matter how challenging they were (Tara), and took great pride in her plants and flowers. Kathy will be remembered for her sense of humor and her love of decorating her home for all holidays, her favorite being Halloween.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>Cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held. Kathy’s children would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital for the compassionate care she received. </p>
